On this historic day, many privileges are afforded to the new President. Many questions are asked of President Barack Obama. As I watched Barack and Michelle holding hands, walking down Pennsylvania Ave, a question came to mind; and I imagine it’s one question he might have as well…Can I get some?
We men have simple pleasures; one of which is to get some lovin’ on special occasions…birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, Saturday nights, you know what I mean…right? Surely, there’s no more special occasion than being sworn in as the leader of the free world! Come on Michelle, can I get some??? I’m the PRESIDENT! I am the MAN!!
So when this thought came to mind, I leaned over and asked my wife, ”do you think Barack’s going to get some tonight?” She smiled and promptly said, “NO” followed by laughter. Her excuse, “think about all the events they have to attend, she’s going to be tired, yada, yada…” Just the sad, typical answer I expected. Sad, but true.
So, here’s a piece of truth for all you women out there…First Ladies included. Suck it up!!! I’m sure Barack will be exhausted by the end of the day and he’s done more work than she has!!! But, guaranteed…he can still get his man on after the last dance, after the last ball, the last handshake. When they hit that White House bedroom, boxes unpacked and all, if Michelle turned and said to him, “come get some Mr. President”, Barack would be all over that!!!
Men are never too tired and you all (wives) better figure out how to hang. Do what you gotta do: energy drinks, coffee, protein bars…whatever! Because we know the alternative…ask Hillary. So, I’ll make a plea…Michelle afford the HEAD of State one of the most appreciated privileges he can receive tonight…hook a brother up!
