So the other day, my wife and I are having our 1,000th heated discussion about sex. It wasn’t really a discussion- I was complaining and she was ignoring me. She took a break from ignoring me to retort “if you would just cuddle with me a little, I would be in the mood more often”.
Hearing this made me want to jab a fork in my eye! What??!!! Cuddling? Is that the answer to this ten year enigma? I love to cuddle before lovemaking. It’s part of foreplay for me. I’m even for cuddling after lovemaking. I’ll even endorse cuddling before AND after lovemaking.
But cuddling without sex is just plain dumb. And it’s frustrating. “Cuddling” arouses me. Why would I intentionally and repeatedly cuddle without the expectation of having sex? I guess this is just XY logic.
